What the Horse Racing Nation is talking about...

Shocked to hear the news of her death. Extremely promising Daredevil filly, she had such a bright future ahead, I'm so sorry girl it had to end like this. Run on in peace, pretty filly.
What are anyone's thoughts on him coming over for the Sprint? This horse has early speed and he flashes it, as we saw in the 2019 Sprint when he was the one who pressed Shancelot through a half :44. I'm not saying he'll win, but Jackie will now almost assuredly have some company up front.
Quite disappointed in the decision, but not surprised at all.
Ya Beauty picture-perfect at Presque Isle Downs. Read More
Thought I would give an update on Search Engine. He’s been working steady and they are trying to find a race for him at Keenland. Had one but it didn’t fill. He is raring to go do it should be coming soon. His next race will give him the opportunity to stretch out as that’s what he’s bred to do. As a part owner we are really excited to see what he can do. Tom Amoss has nothing but good things to say about his progress
Electric Ride, a candidate for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies after finishing second in the Oct. 1 Chandelier Stakes (G2), died Saturday at Santa Anita Park. The cause of death for Electric Ride, who was trained by John Sadler, was attributed as non-musculoskeletal sudden death wit...Read More
  • Sophie  · Very sad to hear this news. RIP Electric Ride, Favorite Doc, Luca’s Ride and Kakistocracy. 4 horses dying from non-musculoskeletal sudden death in a week is alarming. Now not at the same track (but all in S Cal)- I wonder if there is a common thread between them and if it’s being looked in to? · 3 hours ago
I just added Mishriff as a "possible" for the Classic just because of the racing manager, Ted Voute, mentioning they would take a look at it. Still unlikely, but you never know. Sounds like we will see him somewhere at the BC, though! Can't wait to see the pre-entries next Wednesday. I feel like some of the Europeans don't completely commit to what race they're going to, or if they're coming at all, so the pre-entries will clear everything up!
will stand for $80k in 2022
will stand for $7,500
will stand for $35,000 in 2022
Caught a glimpse of her on another Baffert pair work. She looks on her toes and ready to go already. She will be a single on my ticket for BC wknd
California trainers, regulators discuss possibility of sanctions for horse fatalities. Read More
  • JanBer  · I think this is a good start, glad to see they're turning their mind to this. It would be good if there was some way to ensure deaths of horses that are sent away from the track already compromised would be included. · 4 hours ago
In foal to Into Mischief...
He isn’t done this yr yet - so hopefully he moves forward
Man he is firing bullets. I’ll take him at 16 to one and back him with silver state
King Fury 2022 HOY if he comes back as a 4 year old!!
This horse has a shot if goes to the mile.
I see he's probable for the Classic, but I wonder if his connections would also consider the Dirt Mile? The cut back may better suit him since he hasn't had much luck at classic distances this year.
Union Rags will have at least 2 runners in the Breeders Cup this year, which is a pleasant surprise considering I thought Express Train would be his only one! -- Express Train is probable for the Classic, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Dirt Mile! -- Commandperformance is training for the Juvenile Colts! I think it's possible that Red Knobs and Keepcalmcarryon might run in the Juvenile Colts; and Gold Heritage might run in one of the Juvenile Turf races.
“They had a bit of rain in the morning – and with both John and the jockey (David Egan), the first thing out of their mouths was that he wasn’t going on the ground. You have to bow to their experience.” “At the moment we’ve all been told to act as if we’re going, and the horse will let us know whether he’s ready. John and the Prince will decide where to go. I suspect they’ll go to the Turf – although just glancing through the Classic, I’d be happy to consider that race as well."
